How to use a Text Box

How to insert a Text Box in Word:

First, you are going to either go to the insert tab and select text box, or you could use the search bar and type text box. After selecting text box, you can either draw your own text box or select one that is already designed. Once you have made your choice, you can select the text box and drag it to wherever you would like on the document. 


 










Why do we use a Text Box?

If you are wanting to draw attention to specific texts in your document, then a text box would be great for this. Using a text box allows you to move specific text around your document. When using a text box, you can change the colors, add textures, change the borders and many other options. This allows you to spice up your document if you would like.
